Local Operation Only

All extension functionality is performed locally in your browser. When you use our hover menu features, all operations are processed within your device and browser environment.

Website Interaction

The extension only interacts with X.com pages to provide enhanced menu functionality. It does not modify, collect, or store any content from these pages.

Browser Permissions

My extension requests minimal permissions necessary for functionality:

• Active tab access: To display hover menus on X.com pages
• Host permissions for x.com: To enable extension functionality on the target website

Third-Party Services

X Profile Menu does not integrate with or share data with any third-party analytics services, advertising networks, or data brokers.

Data Retention

Since we do not collect any personal data, there is no data retention policy needed. Any temporary data used for extension functionality is immediately discarded after use.

Security

I implement security best practices in my extension development, including following Chrome Extension Manifest V3 security standards. All code is open source and available for public review on GitHub.
